LEARN ABOUT JESUS CHRIST

WHO IS JESUS?
Jesus is the son of God, the Great Deliverer, the Anointed One and the Savior of men. Jesus Christ is the author and finisher of our faith. No one can give you the true definition of who Jesus Christ is except yourself. this means you will know who Jesus is, depending on how you see and understand, trust and believe in him. I define Jesus Christ as "My Life". What about you? HOW DO YOU DEFINE JESUS CHRIST.

MEANING OF THE DEFINITION OF JESUS IN THE ABOVE DESCRIPTION.

*JESUS IS THE SON OF GOD
Jesus is not God's son in the sense of a human father and son. God did not get married and have a son. The Bible says in John 1:1 " In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God, and the word was God". it continued in John 1:14 by saying" the word became human being, full of grace and truth, lived among us. We saw this glory, the glory which he received as the father only son". The Bible is telling us that, Jesus is the word of God, Jesus is God. (John 10:30).

*JESUS IS THE GREAT DELIVERER:
Jesus is the Great Deliverer in the sense that, with him everything is possible. This means, when you count on Jesus or put your hope and trust in Him, He is going to deliver you from your pains, sorrows, poverty, sickness, distress and anything that makes you unhappy. Jesus can deliver you from the plans of the enemy as he did to the Israelite in Exodus 6:6 "So tell the Israelite that I say to them, I am the Lord, I will rescue and set you free from the slavery to the Egyptians. I will raise my mighty hand to bring terrible punishment upon them, i will save you".

*JESUS IS THE SON OF MAN
Jesus is the Son of Men, He is a human being and he is also the Son of God, which then makes him a spirit as well. Jesus been the " Son of Men" is different from our human perspective of a man and a woman meeting to give birth. Jesus was born of a Virgin Mary and was given birth in a human form in order to come and save the world from sin. The Bible says in John 1:14 "And the word became a human being, full of grace and truth and live among. We saw his glory, The glory which he received as the fathers only Son.

*JESUS THE AUTHOR AND FINISHER OF OUR FAITH
The Bible says in Hebrew 12:2 "Let us keep our eyes fixed on Jesus on whom our faith depends from beginning to the end. He did not give up because of the cross, on the contrary, because of the joy and glory that  was waiting for him. He thought nothing of the disgrace of the dying on the cross, he is now seated on the right hand side of Gods throne. Your hope and faith should be on Jesus because through him you will be saved and happy forever.

*JESUS IS LIFE
John 3:6 says "For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believe in him should not perish but have everlasting life". The says, when you believe in Jesus, you have eternal life because he came to die for our sin so we can have life fully, abundantly to show us the path to the Father in Heaven. If you see Jesus as your life, you will always be happy and you always receive what you ask for in prayer.

WHY YOU NEED TO KNOW JESUS
John 14:6"Jesus answered him, I am the way the truth and the life, no one goes to the Father except by me". The Bible is saying for to see God and have eternal life, you need to know Jesus and believe in Him. Without Jesus, you can never see God because is the only way.

THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD

A layman attributes or find synonyms to righteousness as goodness, virtue, uprightness, decency, integrity, worthiness, rectitude, probity, morality,
justice, honesty, honour, innocence, purity, nobility and pious. But since man's fall in Eden, causing banishment from God's presence, sin incurs God's wrath and living a righteous life takes the strength from God as well.
In Isaiah 64:6 the Bible says,"all our righteousness are as filthy as rags" but God tells us in Psalms 23:3 that "He will lead us in the path of righteousness for His name sake". This is because God is the Jehovah Tsidekenu (Jeremiah 23:6).
Righteousness can be define as the standard needed for people to be acceptable to God.Righteousness comes from God  so only He can define true righteousness.Scripture pronounces a special blessing on the people who are serious about the name "The Lord our Righteousness". We can find some in the Beatitude where Jesus said "Blessed are the righteous, for they shall be satisfied" (Mathew 5:6) and in some other verses like Habakkuk 2:4,"see,the enemy is puffed up his desires and not upright but the righteous person will live by His faithfulness". 1 Peter 3:12,"for the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and His ears are attentive to their prayer but the face of the Lord is against the evil".
Malachi 4:2,"for you who revere my name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in it's rays. And you will go out and frolic like the fed calves". 2 Corinthians 9:10,"Now He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge your harvest of righteousness". Proverbs 10:6,"Blessings crown the head of the righteous but violent overwhelm the mouth of the wicked".
We are not righteous in and out of ourselves. It is through Jesus Christ's work on the cross that we are made righteous with God.By grace,Christ takes our sins,by faith we received His righteousness.Because of His righteousness,we become right with God.This doesn't mean we still don't make mistakes but despite our failures,God sees us as righteous in Jesus.
Our hearts long to do right things. We vow to use our time wisely. We determine to put the Lord first in our life. But busyness of living gets in our way.Our hearts are in the right place but it's hard for us to pull it together.
Brethren, lets remember the circumstances of life can harden the most well-intention heart .Doubt can stirred our confidence. The influence of others can have for-reaching effects on our own personal relationships. These are moments we must hold fast on our faith, calling to the Lord to lead us in His way of righteousness (Mathew 6:33,:But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all other things shall be added onto you").
Friends we can try as much to stay from intentional sin to make Christ happy for coming to die for our sins.We are credited with righteousness when we believe in His name. 2Corinthians 5:21 says "for He hath made him to be sin for us,He who knew no sin, that we might be made righteousness of God in Him". Isn't that terrific for Jesus to impute His righteousness into us so we see God.God never asked you to live the Christian life apart from Him.He wants to be your strength,He wants to live the Christian life through you and do for you what you could never do for yourself.
THEREFORE,REPENT OF YOUR OWN RIGHTEOUSNESS AND SEEK THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST.

Prayer : Proverbs 10:2,"Ill-gotten treasures has no lasting value but righteousness delivers from death".

Meditation : Psalms 37:5-6,"Commit your ways to the Lord, trust in Him and He will do this.He will make your righteous reward shine like a dawn, your vindication like the Monday sun"....AMEN

THE POWER OF FAITH

THE POWER OF FAITH IN THE LORD
Most people misunderstand faith with boldness,coolness,certitude,patience,courage,impudence,self-reliance and poise. But the Bible defines faith in Hebrews 11:1 as "having confidence in what we hope for and assurance in what we do not see". Faith comes through Jesus Christ who sacrificed His life so we can be saved and to serve God in righteousness with faith. You can find this in Acts 16:31 which says "they replied, believe in Jesus Christ and you will be saved-you and your household".
The situation you are facing today is not bigger than Jesus Christ. You need to walk in faith and righteous for you to see the Hand of God in your life, your business and in your family.
As humans,we sometimes claim we have faith in the Lord but we find it difficult to stand strong when we face certain challenges in life knowing and believing that we serve  a faithful God who always keep His promises. Faith and Righteous works together because when you have faith in the Lord, you remain righteous to Him by doing His will.Faith is one of the greatest garment you can wear as a christian or a believer because with faith you can overcome the enemy, with faith you are blessed with what you pray for, with faith you live in love and peace, with faith your dreams are being achieved, with faith you live according to God's will, with faith you will be protected and covered with the blood of Jesus.
The Bible talks about faith in Psalm 112:6-7,"a good man will never fail,he will always be remembered. He is not afraid of receiving bad news, his faith is strong and he trust in the Lord.
The Bible continued talking about faith in Romans 15:13,"May God,the source of hope, fill you with all joy and peace by means of your faith in Him,so that your hope will continue to grow by the power of the Holy Spirit".
Romans 10:17,"so then, faith comes from hearing the message, and the messages comes through preaching Jesus Christ".
Mathew 21:22,"if you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer".
Mark 11:24,"For this reason,i tell you, when you pray and ask for something, believe you have received it and you will be given whatever you ask for".
1Corinthians 16:13,"be alert,stand firm in faith,be brave,be strong".
1 Corinthians 2:5,"your faith, then, does not rest on human wisdom but on God's power".
Hebrews 10:23,"let's hold on firmly to the hope we profess, because we can trust God to keep His promise"
Mathew 21:21,"Jesus answered,i assure you that if you believe and do not doubt, you will be able to do what i have done to this fig tree. And not only this, but will be able to say to the hill,Get up and throw yourself into the sea,and it will.
Mark 11:22,Jesus answered them, have faith in God.

Brethren, we can never have faith in the Lord if we don't ask of it from Him because the faith you need comes from the Lord.Mathew 17:20 tells us that with Faith we can move mountains. Some of the mountains we have in life as humans are poverty, distress, sorrows, evil attacks, pains and many more.If the Bible is telling us with faith all these things can be taken away from our lives, why won't have faith in the Lord and be saved.
Friends let's walk in the faith of God so we can be filled with joy, peace, love, good health and wealth. We really need the faith of God so we can progress and have eternal life.
God wants to see you in heaven so let's allow with Him use us according to His wishes.

Meditation : Psalms 9:10,"those who know you,Lord, will trust you.You don't abandon anyone who comes to you".

PrayerFather Lord please teach me to have faith in you without any doubting. (Proverbs 30:5)

HOW TO ACCEPT JESUS CHRIST AS YOUR LORD AND SAVIOUR

Question: "What does it mean to accept Jesus as your personal Savior?"

Answer:
Have you accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Savior? To properly understand this question, you must first understand the terms “Jesus Christ,” “personal,” and “Savior.

Who is Jesus Christ? Many people will acknowledge Jesus Christ as a good man, a great teacher, or even a prophet of God. These things are definitely true of Jesus, but they do not fully define who He truly is. The Bible tells us that Jesus is God in the flesh, God in human form ( John 1:1, 14). God came to earth to teach us, heal us, correct us, forgive us—and die for us! Jesus Christ is God, the Creator, the sovereign Lord. Have you accepted this Jesus?

What is a Savior, and why do we need a Savior? The Bible tells us that we have all sinned; we have all committed evil acts (Romans 3:10-18). As a result of our sin, we deserve God's anger and judgment. The only just punishment for sins committed against an infinite and eternal God is an infinite punishment (Romans 6:23; Revelation 20:11-15). That is why we need a Savior!

Jesus Christ came to earth and died in our place. Jesus' death was an infinite payment for our sins (2 Corinthians 5:21). Jesus died to pay the penalty for our sins (Romans 5:8). Jesus paid the price so that we would not have to. Jesus' resurrection from the dead proved that His death was sufficient to pay the penalty for our sins. That is why Jesus is the one and only Savior (John 14:6; Acts 4:12)! Are you trusting in Jesus as your Savior?

Is Jesus your “personal” Savior? Many people view Christianity as attending church, performing rituals, and/or not committing certain sins. That is not Christianity. True Christianity is a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Accepting Jesus as your personal Savior means placing your own personal faith and trust in Him. No one is saved by the faith of others. No one is forgiven by doing certain deeds. The only way to be saved is to personally accept Jesus as your Savior, trusting in His death as the payment for your sins and His resurrection as your guarantee of eternal life (John 3:16). Is Jesus personally your Savior?

If you want to accept Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, say the following words to God. Remember, saying this prayer or any other prayer will not save you. Only believing in Jesus Christ and His finished work on the cross for you can save you from sin. This prayer is simply a way to express to God your faith in Him and thank Him for providing for your salvation. “God, I know that I have sinned against You and deserve punishment. But I believe Jesus Christ took the punishment I deserve so that through faith in Him I could be forgiven. I receive Your offer of forgiveness and place my trust in You for salvation. I accept Jesus as my personal Savior! Thank You for Your wonderful grace and forgiveness—the gift of eternal life! Amen!”

DAILY DEVOTION

                  HOPE

And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.
1 Corinthians 13:13

Hope is a living thing. Peter wrote that God has given us a new birth into a 'living hope'. Paul also says hope "abides." To abide means "to live." Only living things abide, so hope is a living thing and you have to feed it with the Word so it can grow.

If you'll do that, hope will paint a picture of God's promise fulfilled in your life. It will give you an inner image of yourself healed and prosperous, with your loved ones saved, your marriage restored or whatever else you've been hoping for. Hope will paint that picture so clearly inside you and make it so real; you will become blind to what you see on the outside.

As you meditate on those inner pictures hope has painted with God's Word, you'll begin to believe you are what the Word of God says you are. You'll begin to realize you're not what the world or your parents or your friends say you are. You're not even what you think you are. You are what GOD says you are! You're the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus!

Let me give you an example: You have a condition that doctors are finding hard to handle. So you go on your knees and pray to God for your healing. You begin to locate and memorise all verses on healing in the Bible. You meditate constantly on these verses till you begin to get a clear picture of yourself healed. This picture in your heart becomes your confession. You'll actually get to the point where you don't pay any attention to how you feel now, because you've seen yourself healed in Jesus with the eyes of your spirit.

If you'll continue to look at yourself healed and not let the devil shake you, if you'll refuse to complain and tell everybody how terrible you feel, one of these days you see on the inside will become what how you feel on the outside. He'll be healed! That's what hope does. It creates a miracle working atmosphere.

Prayer:Bind and cast out the spirit of hopelessness; ask the Lord to fill you with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Scriptural Reading: 1 Corinthians 13:1-13

   COURAGE COMES FROM FAITH

Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest. (Joshua 1:9)

Courage comes from trusting God. It can’t be mentally drummed up. It comes from believing what God says regardless of what the circumstances look like. Courage comes from faith!

Where does discouragement come from? From fear and unbelief. It comes when you listen to the devil’s lies about what God is not going to do for you.

As the people of God, you and I must shake off discouragement and rise up with courage! We must quit looking at our own abilities and failures and limitations and start looking to God. We must rise up in the Name of Jesus and the power of His Spirit and establish the kingdom of heaven upon earth.

If you’ve been discouraged lately, stop listening to Satan’s lies. Stop receiving evil reports. Whenever someone tells you God is not going to deliver you, you just tell them, “He’s already delivered me in the Name of Jesus.”

Once you begin to realize who you are and what you’ve been given by the power of God, you’ll quit letting the devil run all over you. God didn’t suggest that you be strong and courageous. That is His command!

Scripture Reading:
Joshua 1:1-9

10 KEY BIBLE VERSES ABOUT SIN

What does the Bible say about sin? The Bible is very clear on the subject of sin in that everyone is guilty of sin, God hates sin, God found a way through Jesus for us to be forgiven of sin. Feel free to use these sin Bible scriptures for a devotional,Sunday school lessons or topical Bible study.

We Are All Sinners

Romans 3:23  For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard.

Isaiah 64:6 We are all infected and impure with sin. When we display our righteous deeds, they are nothing but filthy rags. Like autumn leaves, we wither and fall, and our sins sweep us away like the wind.

We Need To Confess Our Sin

Proverbs 28:13 People who conceal their sins will not prosper, but if they confess and turn from them, they will receive mercy.

Hosea 5:15  Then I will return to my place until they admit their guilt and turn to me. For as soon as trouble comes, they will earnestly search for me.”

God Forgives Our Sin

1 John 1:7-9 But if we are living in the light, as God is in the light, then we have fellowship with each other, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, cleanses us from all sin.  If we claim we have no sin, we are only fooling ourselves and not living in the truth. But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness.

Forgiving One Another’s Sins

Luke 17:3-4 So watch yourselves!    “If another believer sins, rebuke that person; then if there is repentance, forgive. Even if that person wrongs you seven times a day and each time turns again and asks forgiveness, you must forgive.”

Examples of Sin

Colossians 3:5-6   So put to death the sinful, earthly things lurking within you. Have nothing to do with sexual immorality, impurity, lust, and evil desires. Don’t be greedy, for a greedy person is an idolater, worshiping the things of this world.  Because of these sins, the anger of God is coming.

Galatians 5:19-21  When you follow the desires of your sinful nature, the results are very clear: sexual immorality, impurity, lustful pleasures, idolatry, sorcery, hostility, quarreling, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish ambition, dissension, division,  envy, drunkenness, wild parties, and other sins like these. Let me tell you again, as I have before, that anyone living that sort of life will not inherit the Kingdom of God.

Victory Over Sin

1 Corinthians 15:57 But thank God! He gives us victory over sin and death through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Romans 8:1 So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus.

I pray that these Bible Verses on sin helped you to see sin the way God does. Please feel free to add any other sin Scriptures in the comments so this will be a better resource for those that find it.

WHAT THE BIBLE TEACHES ABOUT FORGIVENESS

The Bible is one long story of how God reaches out to show His love and forgiveness to mankind. In Genesis 3:15 God gives His first promise of a Redeemer who would forgive the world of their sin. God gives various stories in His Word demonstrating forgiveness.

Jacob and Esau (Genesis 25, 27, 32, 33)- Forgiveness Bible Story

The twins Jacob and Esau were very different from one another. One was a man’s man. Esau loved outdoor activities like tending the sheep and hunting. Jacob preferred to stay at home and learn from his mother.
One day Esau came in from the field famished. He begged Jacob to give him something to eat. In return Jacob sold a bowl of soup to his older twin in exchange for the birthright. Esau traded the larger portion of their inheritance for a bowl of beans. (Genesis 25:29-34)
The deception continued. When their father Isaac knew he was near death he requested that his manly son Esau kill a deer to prepare a fine meal before dividing the estate. Rebbecca, the mother of the twins, heard the request and helped Jacob pull off a grand scheme to fool Isaac into giving Jacob the larger portion of the inheritance.
In the end, Jacob had to run for his life. He fled to another country to find his mother’s relatives who would care for him. It was many years before he returned to his own family. When he did, he heard that his brother Esau was looking for him. The deceiver Jacob was scared. He devised a plan so that his brother could only destroy half of Jacob’s wealth if he was caught. (Genesis 32)
When they finally met, Esau ran to Jacob and hugged him and kissed him and showed forgiveness and mercy. He had so forgiven Jacob that he was surprised Jacob would even think that there might be hard feelings between them. (Genesis 33)

Joseph (Genesis 37-50)- Forgiveness Among Brothers

The 11th son born to Jacob was Joseph. God revealed His plan for the life of Joseph when he was still a young boy. Joseph excitedly talked with his brothers about God’s plans. His brothers became jealous and eventually sold him into slavery while telling their father Jacob that his favorite son had been killed by a wild animal.
Joseph was bought by a man who eventually recognized Joseph’s honesty. The man gave Joseph great freedom even though he was still a slave. Eventually Joseph was wrongly accused of a crime and ended up in prison. Joseph’s integrity won him favor with the jail keepers and he became a guard over other prisoners. Through time God elevated Joseph to great power within the kingdom.
The brothers thought Joseph was dead. They did not suspect that the man they stood before was their own brother Joseph. When Joseph revealed himself, they were shocked to know he was alive. They even feared for years that he would seek retribution. After the family was reunited they lived together in Egypt. When their father passed away, the brothers began to fear even more that Joseph would finally show his hatred towards them (Genesis 50:15). Joseph was heartbroken when he learned they still did not trust him and that they feared what he would do to them (Genesis 50:17).
This amazing story of forgiveness culminates with these words from Joseph to his brothers:

“And Joseph said unto them, Fear not: for am I in the place of God? But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive. Now therefore fear ye not: I will nourish you, and your little ones. And he comforted them, and spake kindly unto them.” (Genesis 50:19-21)

David and Mephibosheth (2 Samuel 9)- Another Great Bible Story About Forgiveness

Though King Saul tried to destroy David throughout the book of 1 Samuel, David responded with kindness and forgiveness to the household of Saul. After he became king, David looked for anyone who was still living from the household of Saul so that he could demonstrate his love and friendship for Jonathan, Saul’s son.
David showed kindness to Mephibosheth by restoring to him and his family the land owned by the former king. David paid to have the land farmed and cared for. As for Mephibosheth himself, David made a place for him at his own table so that he was accepted as part of the kings family.

Prodigal Son (Luke 15)- Forgiving Bible Story Between A Father and a Son

Jesus taught a story that illustrates redemption, love and forgiveness in Luke 15:11-32. It is commonly called the Parable of the Prodigal Son.
There was a man who had two sons. The oldest was obedient and content to live with his father. The younger couldn’t wait to get away from the family to live life on his own terms. When he was able, he went to his father to ask for his portion of the inheritance. When he got his money he ran off to a far away land. Jesus says that the young man wasted his money in wild living. A short time later the economy bottomed out and the man had no money, no job and no friends. He was willing to take whatever job he could get and ended up taking care of pigs for a farmer. He was so destitute that he was willing to eat the pig feed to stay alive.
The young man wised up and realized that he had a loving father who treated his servants better than the boy was currently living. He decided to return home as a servant to the father. At least he would have food to eat. Little did he know, his father was expecting the boy’s return. As soon as the father saw the young man on the horizon, he ran to him with open arms of forgiveness.
Though the boy returned with hopes of just being a servant, the father accepted him as the son he always was. The boy was forgiven and restored to his former position in the family.

Woman Taken in Adultery (John 8)- A Bible Story Where Jesus Examples Forgiveness

In a show of His own divinity, Jesus forgave a woman who was caught in the act of adultery. She was brought to the Lord by the spiritual leaders in town. They wanted to see if Jesus, claiming to be the Son of God, would obey the Law of God and have the woman stoned. Instead, Jesus said that they were welcome to start the stoning as soon as they felt like they were without sin and did not deserve a stoning of their own. They dropped their rocks and walked away.
Jesus feigned surprise when he looked up from playing in the dirt and the woman was standing there alone with no accusers. Asking her if there was anyone left to accuse her of her sin, she answered “No.” Jesus responded, “Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.”
Forgiveness is an attribute of God that we are consistently taught in the Bible that we too can demonstrate to others.

Meditation : “Therefore, my friends, I want you to know that through Jesus the forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you. (Acts 13:38)
Prayer : Father please forgive me of my sin as i forgive those who sin against me. Clean and purify me with your blood as you said in Mathew 28:28,"This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins".

WHAT THE BIBLE TEACHES ABOUT LOVE

Love existed from the beginning because the Bible says in 1 John 4:8,"WHOEVER DOES NOT LOVE DOES NOT KNOW GOD,FOR GOD IS LOVE". The gift of loving God and loving others is the most important gift we can give and receive in life.
Love can be define as devoting yourself passionately to someone or something. It can also be defined as is a complex set of emotions, behaviors, and beliefs associated with strong feelings of affection, protectiveness, warmth, and respect for another person or something.
But it's rather unfortunate most people misunderstand Love to Lust. They are two different things all together.
Lust is having a strong sexual desire for somebody.Lust is a sin and it need no to be entertained.Mathew 5:18 says "But now i tell you, anyone who looks at woman and wants to have her is guilty of committing adultery with her in his heart".

Now answer this question yourself,Are you living in Love or in Lust ?

WHAT THE BIBLE TEACHES ABOUT LOVE

The greatest commandment in Bible says " Jesus answered,Love the Lord your God is all your heart, with all your soul and with all your mind".(Mathew 22:36)
The second greatest commandment in the Bible also talks about love which says "Love your neighbour as you love yourself".(Mathew 22:39)
In order to live a life that pleasing God,you need to love God and love you neighbours because that is the only way you can draw closer to God.

 GOD'S LOVE FOR MANKIND

The greatest story of love is the story of Jesus Christ. Since the very beginning of the Bible, God has shown His love to man. Even though He requires death as punishment for sin, God promised a redeemer who would come to earth to save mankind. Many stories in the Old Testament are used as examples to help us understand the love of God through Jesus Christ.
The sacrifices of the Old Testament were to point people to the ultimate sacrifice—Jesus Christ. While man has sinned, he can be made righteous in God’s sight through a substitutionary sacrifice on his behalf. This sacrifice was Jesus on the cross.
Jesus’ death on the cross in the place of sinners guarantees the salvation of those who come to him seeking forgiveness for their sins. This forgiveness can be had as a free gift (Romans 6:23).
The greatest story of love in the Bible can be summed up in the wonderful verse of John 3:16:
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

The Bible also spoke about stories which exhibited love which were above human expectation :Some of these stories are :

DAVID AND JONATHAN - BIBLE STORY ABOUT FRIENDS

King Saul was jealous of the young man David. This was partially because David was gaining in popularity and partly because God had already told Saul that his kingdom would not continue. Samuel had already anointed David as the next king in 1 Samuel 16 before David killed Goliath in chapter 17. Saul’s anger toward David mounted with the passing years.
Even though Jonathan knew his father hated David and that David would become the next king of Israel, Jonathan and David became good friends. The Bible says in 1 Samuel 18:1, “the soul of Jonathan was knit with the soul of David and Jonathan loved him as his own soul.”
According to 1 Samuel 13 there were only two swords in the kingdom. King Saul owned one and his son Jonathan had the other. When David was preparing to flee from Saul, Jonathan gave his sword to David.

Logically Jonathan would become the next king in Israel, but he knew God’s hand was on David. He chose to help the man whom God had anointed instead of fighting him out of jealousy. Jonathan loved David despite the fact the he knew David will be taking his position as the next king of Israel.Jonathan never envied David because the Bible tell us in 1 Corinthians 13:4-5 that “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs".

GOOD SAMARITAN - A BIBLE LESSON ON LOVE

One of the parables of Jesus was the story of the Good Samaritan found in Luke 10. A lawyer came to Jesus and wanted to prove to the Lord that he wasn’t a bad person. Jesus told him that he need to love God with all his heart and his neighbors around him. The lawyer wanted to find out exactly who Jesus meant were his neighbors. In response Jesus told the story of the Good Samaritan.
A Jewish man was beaten and left half dead in the street. A priest and a Levite passed by. Though they were Jews too, they chose to leave the man alone thinking that he was not their responsibility. A Samaritan saw the man and offered to nurse him back to health even though the Jews despised the Samaritans. The Samaritan paid for the needed medical care and offered to pay more as necessary.
Though the Jews would not cross the street to help their fellow countryman, a Samaritan realized that all men are his neighbors and showed love and compassion.Jesus told the lawyer that he too should show love to those around him.
You need to show love to both those you know and those you don't know in order to please God. Above all,you need to love unconditionally before you can enter the Kingdom of God.
God wants you be a testimony of His word so that soul can be saved through you.Allow God to speak to you and tell me teach you the way you walk in His constant and unfailing love.

Meditation : “Let all that you do be done in love.”  1 Corinthians 16:14
Prayer : Father Lord i want to love you with all my heart, all my soul and with all my mind.Teach me to also love my neighbours as my self so that i can please you in all ways and actions.(Mathew 22;36-39)
